When to use emergency portable showers?
Emergency portable safety showers are best used when access to a consistent water supply is not available.

What are some of the advantages of using emergency portable showers?

Replacement
If you’re onsite showers are having maintenance or repairs, then the portable safety shower is a great alternative as it will continue to provide employees with the necessary onsite facilities.
Adaptive
Portable showers can also be adapted to the climate you are working in. For example, if you are working in cold or freezing conditions then you need to make sure that the water is heated to a tepid level to prevent hypothermia or thermal shock.
There are certain regulations that need to be adhered to when suing a portable shower including:
- Tepid water must be released at a temperature between 60° and 100° F.
- The water must flow from the shower steadily for around 30 gallons per minute for 15 minutes.
- The shower should also be in very close proximity (10 seconds) of workers who may need them.
